Balancing a busy day in private practice with the many different materials and techniques available can be confusing, frustrating and overwhelming. Material selection and clinical technique are critical to achieve long-term clinical success. Minimal invasive procedures have proven to provide predictable and long-lasting results when the best techniques are applied. We will discuss the different adhesive systems and curing lights available with step-by-step guidance for direct Class II posterior restorations along with a few pearls for managing deep decay.
