  • There will be NO ONSITE REGISTRATION this year. Please make sure you have pre-registered for all in-person courses and events before you arrive at the Meeting.
  • You will receive a 4-digit CE code at the conclusion of all in-person courses to use when redeeming CE (a CE code will not be given for virtual courses).
  • You can redeem in-person CE within your registration account anytime after the course ends. There is no time limit for when you can redeem in-person CE (see below for CE redemption details for virtual courses which need to be redeemed prior to April 13, 2021).

Virtual Education FAQs

  • The "virtual platform" opens on Wednesday, March 10. Check back then instructions for logging in and setting up your virtual profile before the Meeting.
  • Virtual lectures are included in your registration fee. Look for courses that start with the letter "V" (example: Course VFr400).
  • You do not need to register in advance for virtual courses, but feel free to do so if that helps you plan your schedule!
  • Speakers will be available live in the Q&A and chat features to answer your questions, during the advertised time only, on March 12 and 13.
  • At the conclusion of the live broadcast, virtual courses will be available to view on-demand through April 12, 2021.
  • To obtain CE credit, attendees will be required to pass a five-question quiz at the conclusion of each virtual course. Each attendee must be logged in with his or her unique email address and badge number to receive credit.
  • Virtual course CE can only be redeemed within the virtual platform. The virtual platform is open through April 12, 2021. We recommend that you take the quiz as soon as the virtual course is complete!

Georgia Board of Dentistry Temporary Continuing Education Policy for 2020-2021

Due to the impact of COVID-19, the Georgia Board of Dentistry has elected to adopt this temporary continuing education policy for the 2020-2021 biennium only. Board Rules 150-3-.09 and 150-5-.05 still apply, however, in lieu of the 50% of credit hours that are required to be “in person at an on-site course or seminar,” the Board will accept “live, instructor-led virtual courses or seminars.”  Please be aware that pre-recorded courses (without the ability to engage live with the speaker), on-demand or replay courses, and courses classified as self-instruction do not qualify as live, instructor-led virtual courses or seminars and will not be accepted for the credit hours required to be on-site. Georgia Board of Dentistry website:  https://www.gadental.org/education/ce-requirements

Can I contact the speaker if the course is pre-recorded?

Possibly. At their own discretion, speakers may provide their email address to accept questions from viewers of the on-demand courses. Speakers will be available for Q&A during their courses when they are broadcast simulive on March 12 & 13.
