The Hinman Dental Meeting utilizes a computerized accreditation process. Hinman provides one hour of credit for each hour of lecture, unless otherwise indicated in the course description.
Attendees who register for courses will receive a ticket listing the course and speaker for each class and a CE scan ticket. Be sure to make note of the CE code announced at the conclusion of each course and keep the CE scan ticket and your badge number (included in your registration materials).
CE certificates can be printed out at the conclusion of each course, at the end of the meeting or from www.hinman.org following the meeting. Contact our registration service, QMS, at 1-866-248-2883 to obtain your CE certificates ($25 fee) from any Hinman meeting PRIOR TO 2013.
For General Attendance courses, please make every effort to be in your seat at the start time of your class. After ten minutes have passed, the Clinic Captains will begin to allow non-ticketed attendees to take up the available seats.
The Thomas P. Hinman Dental meeting is an Approved PACE Program Provider (FAGD/MAGD Credit) by the Academy of General Dentistry. Approval does not imply acceptance by a state or provincial board of dentistry or AGD endorsement. To check AGD codes assigned to our 2015 courses, click here. AGD codes for 2016 courses will be updated soon!
To receive AGD credit
, include your AGD number where indicated on the registration form or when registering online. For the 2015 Meeting, Hinman submitted CE to the AGD on April 24, 2015
. After this date you will be required to submit your own CE to the AGD for credit from the 2015 meeting (if you did not provide your AGD number in advance).
The Thomas P. Hinman Dental Meeting has carefully selected all lecturers, exhibits and exhibitors present at each Hinman Dental Meeting. The contents of any particular program, lecture, exhibit or handout are the responsibility of the respective lecturer or exhibitor presenting such material. The Hinman Dental Society does not endorse or approve any materials so presented.
Certified Dental Technicians (CDTs)
can earn continuing education hours from courses taken at Hinman Dental Meeting since they are an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry.
To receive CDT credits, CDTs will need to self-submit their hours to NBC by providing copies of the CE certificates of attendance obtained from Hinman. CDTs will need to mail, fax or upload CE certificates at www.nbccert.org in order to report their credits. Please be sure to include your CDT number on your CE certificate when sending it in and please retain a copy for your records. Contact NBC at (800) 684-5310 with additional questions on reporting your hours.
CE certificates can be printed out at the conclusion of each course, at the end of the meeting or from www.hinman.org for up to six months following the meeting.
