This course explores the prevalence and impact of gingivitis, a common oral health issue affecting a significant portion of the population (between 70-90%). It can develop in childhood and is common in puberty. While gingivitis is reversible, it should not be underestimated, as it often serves as a precursor to periodontal disease. However, not all individuals with gingivitis progress to periodontitis. In this course, participants will delve into the causes of inflammation and gingivitis, improving their proficiency in utilizing the ADA gingivitis code and making product recommendations to effectively reverse gingivitis and prevent future bone loss.
