Infection control in dentistry is a growing concern. The dental environment presents a relative risk of both acquisition and transmission of an infectious disease to the patient.  Additional concerns arise from cross-contamination, contaminated water lines, antibiotic resistant bacteria and complex infections.  Appropriate antibiotics stewardship is the hallmark for appropriate care for patients. Join us for a discussion of these topics and how to protect your patients appropriately in your practice.

This course satisfies the Georgia Board of Dentistry requirements for infection control training for dentists and hygienists.
