With more and more restorations being fabricated from all-ceramic materials, we have seen some challenges with the change from PFM and metal. Restoration fit is sometimes not as adequate as PFM or metal, crowns are coming off in service, some restorations break, most ceramic restorations have short-term glaze and stain on them, and precision attachments in ceramic can be problematic. We will develop solutions to these challenges and discuss the needed materials and techniques!
