This course explores the science and clinical application of Leukocyte-Platelet Rich Fibrin (L-PRF) in oral surgery. Participants will review the biological mechanisms behind L-PRF, its role in enhancing healing and its effectiveness in improving graft material handling. Step-by-step protocols. from venipuncture to placement, will be covered, along with hands-on training simulations and L-PRF membrane manipulation aimed at gaining practical skills and insight into one of the most promising tools for optimizing soft and hard tissue healing.

 

Note: To perform venipuncture procedures, additional specific training is required in the state of Georgia for dental assistants and hygienists (GA. Code 43-11-23). Attendees from other states should consult your state's requirements.
