Most dentists, at some point, will be faced with a medical emergency in their dental office. The growing number of elderly in the population is a factor that is increasing these emergencies. Elderly patients are typically medically compromised, and as our elderly population grows, treating dentists are more and more likely to encounter these types of emergencies. This course is designed to prepare the doctor and staff in preventing and dealing with the most common emergencies seen in the office.
