Breathing, airway and sleep health are central to both dental and overall health. Dental teams stand on the frontlines as gatekeepers who recognize the signs and symptoms of airway disorders. Crowded teeth, impacted 3rd molars, scalloped tongue, swollen tonsils, bruxism, teeth wear, TMD, and a.m. headaches are all associated with airway and sleep disorders. This course will address these concerns that often begin in early childhood and create problems for a lifetime. Cause, effect and effective strategies will be addressed.
