An interactive hands-on workshop designed to equip today’sdental clinician with the skill set to recognize and identify theearliest warning signs of HPV and non-HPV oropharyngealcancer. Breakout sessions will involve hands-on use ofadjunctive screening devices, AirPlay mirroring of a liveexamination and the review of techniques, extraoral andintraorally, to provide your practice with the best possibleopportunity for earlier discovery of oral cancer. Learn toperform a systematic extraoral and intraoral examination withattention to high risk anatomical areas related both to HPVand non-HPV oropharyngeal cancer. Be able to recognizethe subtle, life-saving early signs and symptoms that mayaccompany HPV oropharyngeal cancer. The session will reviewclinical resources that will aid in assessment, documentationand management pathways of an abnormal finding.
