This course uses case studies to explore the timing, stability, and impact of treating upper airway inflammation through dentofacial orthopedics and orthodontics. Participants will learn how the orofacial complex grows, how nasal and pharyngeal obstructions affect dental and facial development, and the common sites of airway blockage. The course emphasizes the importance of addressing underlying causes, recognizing patterns of dentofacial changes, and determining optimal treatment timing—typically after the first molars and permanent incisors emerge, with noted exceptions.
