The incorporation of lasers and light technologies in the practice of dentistry is becoming widespread and prevalent. Although these valuable instruments have become more commonplace, many dental professionals have a limited knowledge of their uses and how to integrate them into their offices. This course explains the science, applications, safety precautions and commercial devices available to the dental profession. The concept and uses of "photobiomodulation" in dentistry will be featured as well.
