Root resorption is a very poorly understood topic in dentistry. Most of us were taught about internal versus external resorption in dental school, but we now know there are many different subtypes of resorption. Adding to the confusion is there are many names for the same types of resorption and our classification system is incoherent. This course seeks to rectify these problems and add clarity to this complex phenomenon. Management of resorptions is nuanced and tailored to the type, extent, location, and individual patient desires. We will explore these management options in a way that is easy to understand and take back to your practice.
