The population is growing and so are our waistlines! The dental visit is not “just about the mouth”—it is about the whole patient! Sugar intake, portion control and encouraging healthy habits...how can the dental team be part of the solution to the obesity crisis? This course will discuss current research, investigating how diet and nutrition effect oral health. In addition, we will consider practical approaches to promote healthy habits in the dental setting.
