Dental clinicians are often one of the first to identify a patient at risk of the harmful effects of an oral-systemic acidic environment. This course will provide insightful pearls on identifying, educating, and treating patients with acid erosion. We will analyze the etiologies of dental acid erosion so you have the tools to educate patients on potential associated underlying systemic conditions and about low pH levels of certain foods and drinks they consume.
