The proper fit and function of a restoration plays a HUGE part in long-term esthetics and success. We will review esthetic considerations of the gingival tissue and the role of dental restorations and occlusal considerations. Several anterior esthetic surgeries will be analyzed step by step. Evaluate when to provisionalize before soft tissue procedures. Distinguish what happens when implants are placed in a patient that has not finished growing. Assess altered passive eruption, uneven gingival margins, and consequences of biological width violation and review embrasure formation to avoid restorative complications.
