With so much external input, it is imperative that today’s clinician utilize the technology available to us in both the initial and periodic examinations. Patients retain much more information when presented visually. In this course we will review the initial exam and tools that can improve your diagnostic and clinical capabilities, discuss what we should be looking for to improve our patient’s overall oral health and examine how photography and technology can improve diagnosis and case acceptance.
