Thursday Courses
Th306 - Simplifying Your Restorative Cases Using the Bonded Functional Esthetic Prototype
Time: 8 - 11 AM
Type: General    Handouts: Yes
Dentist Fee: $0.00  Other Fee: $0.00

The importance of preserving as much tooth structure as possible in porcelain
veneer or full mouth rehabilitation cases is crucial for the long-term success of
our restorations. By including the bonded functional esthetic prototype (BFEP) into
this equation, dentists can achieve: 1. A functional “mock-up” that patients can
wear for a prolonged period of time. 2. Controlled and calibrated tooth reduction to
preserve tooth vitality in excessive wear cases. 3. Use of the BFEP as an occlusal
splint when altering VDO. This course will walk attendees through a logical
treatment planning sequence that will help them organize clinical steps and
increase acceptance rate.

Note: This course is a prerequisite for course Th116.

Th116 - The Bonded Functional Esthetic Prototype Hands-On Workshop
Time: 12:30 - 3:30 PM
Type: Participation    Handouts: No
Dentist Fee: $395.00  Other Fee: $395.00

This hands-on course will provide a step by step guide on the laboratory and
clinical aspect of the Bonded Functional Esthetic Prototype (BFEP). Upon
completion of this hands-on course, the participant will understand when
and how much tooth reduction is really needed. Participants will also become
familiar with the BFEP concept and will implement the BFEP technique into
everyday practice.

Note: Participants need to bring loupes.

Note: Course Th306 is a prerequisite to attending this course.
