Thursday Courses
TH218 - Fresh Concept Utilizing the Neutral Zone for Immediate Denture Therapy
Time: 10 - 11:30 AM
Room: Omni, OMNI COTTONWOOD A
Type: Registered    Handouts: No
Dentist Fee: $35.00  Other Fee: $35.00

The concept of the “neutral zone” is generally misunderstood and underused in the fabrication of the immediate denture. This presentation will reveal the protocol and algorithm for the immediate denture construction using the neuromuscular approach. Attendees will be able to compare the standard immediate prosthesis taught in dental schools today with the new prosthesis. Both anterior and posterior tooth placement follows a different approach when using this natural process. The completed overall shape becomes the roadmap for optimal implant treatment.

TH236 - The Prospective Engineered Prosthesis Design for Implant Placement
Time: 1 - 3 PM
Room: GWCC, GWCC A409
Type: Registered    Handouts: No
Dentist Fee: $80.00  Other Fee: $50.00

For the last century the dental profession has been making dentures by current guidelines. However, the successful cases seemed to be hit and miss. Predictability has always been inconsistent even after following present accepted guidelines. By adding the neuromuscular component to mix, a new term "Prospective Engineered Prosthesis" (PEP) was introduced to the profession to differentiate it from the standard complete and immediate full-mouth prosthesis fabrication. Join Dr. Joseph Massad to learn how this component has become the paradigm shift.

Friday Courses
FR125 - Increase Clinical Efficiency with Various New Implant Abutment and Fixed Prosthodontic Systems
Time: 8:30 - 11:30 AM
Room: GWCC, GWCC B304
Type: Participation    Handouts: No
Dentist Fee: $365.00  Other Fee: $365.00

This hands-on workshop presented by Drs. Joseph Massad and David Little will use a fixed and removable implant denture to understand when a fixed versus removable is indicated. Attendees will use two new stud abutment systems that will correct divergency implant abutments up to 30 degrees between implants. Exercises will allow two attendees to work together to pick up attachments with realistic implant models and, in the process, learn a new fixed prosthesis system without the need to verify with a jig.

Saturday Courses
SA579 - Final Seating of an Overdenture and a Fixed Denture/Live Patient Demo
Time: 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Room: GWCC, GWCC A410
Type: Seminar    Handouts: No
Dentist Fee: $0.00  Other Fee: $0.00

This exciting live patient experience presented by Drs. David Little and Joseph Massad will allow attendees to view placing two implant prosthesis with divergent implants. One arch will be implant supported and the opposing arch will be a fixed denture. The rationale for various prosthesis will be discussed in detail to assist the attendees in their thought process for choosing the optimal prosthetic restoration.
