Implant dentistry can enhance the quality of our patients’ lives, whether replacing a single tooth or an entire edentulous arch; advancements in technology such as Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), planning software, and CAD/CAM allow us to develop virtually a restorative-driven treatment plan that produces predictable results. After this course, attendees will be able to understand the diagnosis and treatment planning using CBCT and planning software; learn impression techniques, including digital technology and digital dentures; and learn restorative techniques including immediate provisionalization and impressions.

This hands-on workshop presented by Drs. Joseph Massad and David Little will use a fixed and removable implant denture to understand when a fixed versus removable is indicated. Attendees will use two new stud abutment systems that will correct divergency implant abutments up to 30 degrees between implants. Exercises will allow two attendees to work together to pick up attachments with realistic implant models and, in the process, learn a new fixed prosthesis system without the need to verify with a jig.

This exciting live patient experience presented by Drs. David Little and Joseph Massad will allow attendees to view placing two implant prosthesis with divergent implants. One arch will be implant supported and the opposing arch will be a fixed denture. The rationale for various prosthesis will be discussed in detail to assist the attendees in their thought process for choosing the optimal prosthetic restoration.
