Examine how various situations in the office can be solved with the wide range of materials and information available.

CEREC is not a system to treat just a single tooth in a single manner. This multipurpose technology allows dentists to tackle more complicated and more rewarding tasks such as the replacement of missing teeth. In this course, some of the more advanced applications involved in restoring edentulous spaces will be discussed and demonstrated. The course will also demonstrate the techniques used for bridge fabrication and implant restorations. The materials for these procedures will be explained so attendees can use these rewarding procedures in their practices immediately.

This course will walk an individual through the simple process of creating a single tooth restoration with the CEREC CAD/CAM system. Participants will experience how to capture the information to create a digital model of the area to be restored. The design workflow demonstrated and explained allows the students to fabricate a beautiful, all-ceramic restoration that they will be proud of. Just as there is a wide range of applications for the CEREC system, there exists a wide range of materials to address various clinical situations. These will be examined so the participant will be comfortable selecting the correct material for the correct job.

CEREC is not just a system for a single tooth restoration. CEREC has evolved into a robust restorative system that can solve many of the restorative needs our patients. CEREC can be used for the restoration of edentulous spaces as a very satisfying procedure that can be completed efficiently in a cost-effective manner. Fabricating implant restorations and bridges will be demonstrated using CEREC. Participants will learn how to bring these rewarding procedures into their offices.
