Dentist Fee: $95.00  Other Fee: $65.00

interested in updating their knowledge of the diagnosis, etiology and fundamentals
of treatment for their periodontally compromised patients. An overview of periodontal
treatment from non-surgical therapy through regenerative surgical techniques will
be presented, implement an algorithm for decision making regarding the treatment
or referral for treatment of the various forms of periodontal disease.

Friday Courses
Fr334 - Improving Restorative Outcomes: Aesthetic Surgical Periodontics and Your Practice
Time: 8 - 11 AM
Room: ,
Type: General    Handouts: No
Dentist Fee: $0.00  Other Fee: $0.00

For many years surgical periodontal procedures were thought of as destructive,
disfiguring techniques which negatively impact patients’ aesthetic sensibility.
This presentation will focus on the harmonious relationship between aesthetic
parameters and surgical periodontal therapy. Understanding the importance of
case selection, the concept of “Biologic Width,” and the dynamics of wound
healing will improve your restorative end results. Control of patients’ aesthetics
is maximized when the restorative dentist has a comprehensive understanding of
the “Gingival Frame” surrounding their work.

Fr265 - Root Coverage: No Pain, But Lots Of Gain!
Time: 1 - 4 PM
Room: ,
Type: Registered    Handouts: No
Dentist Fee: $95.00  Other Fee: $65.00

Gingival augmentation procedures are thought of as painful, disfiguring surgical
techniques, which often negatively impact patients’ aesthetic sensibility. The
advent of regenerative material derived from the enamel matrix of developing
tooth buds, now allows dentists to predictably cover exposed root surfaces
without utilizing palatal donor sites or human allografts. Think it’s not possible?
Attend this course and judge for yourself. Develop an enhanced understanding of
the benefits and limitations of different gingival augmentation techniques.
