Root resorption is a very poorly understood topic in dentistry. Most dentists were
taught about internal versus external resorption in dental school, but now know there
are many different subtypes of resorption. Adding to the confusion are many names
for the same types of resorption and our classification system is incoherent. This
course seeks to rectify these problems and add clarity to this complex phenomenon.
Management of resorptions is nuanced and tailored to the type, extent, location and
individual patient desires. The course will explore these management options in a
way that is easy to understand and take back to your practice.
