Creating an Organized Occlusion

Understand and implement the concepts of organizing an occlusion. A case will be used to allow an optimal occlusion to be designed based on the signs and symptoms present during the examination, and the assessment of what role the occlusion plays as a risk to a successful long-term outcome. Occlusal design components will be presented, and the rationale for reducing muscle engagement and force application by controlling tooth contact will be presented.
