The Atlanta Apparel Mart is typically only open to trade professionals, but will be open to registered Hinman attendees showing a name badge and ticket. Registrants are allowed to enter showrooms that display a "Samples" sign only. Enter the Mart at the corner of Spring Street and Harris Street. Look for signs near the escalator to the left of the Apparel Mart Exhibit Hall entrance.
All showrooms may not be open – days and times vary. Showrooms do not accept credit cards.
Take the Hinman shuttle from the main entrance of the GWCC to the Days Inn. The Apparel Mart is located directly across the street (250 Spring Street).
Tickets for this event must be purchased prior to the meeting or at the Ticket Sales desk in the Registration Hall.

Hinman attendees who pre-register are invited to visit the Georgia Aquarium at a discounted rate. Don’t miss your chance to see the world’s largest aquarium, home to eight million gallons of fresh and marine water! Special convention tickets are available for adults ($23.50), children ages 3 – 12 ($17.50), and seniors age 55 and above ($19.25) until February 25 through the Hinman pre-registration process only. These tickets are non-refundable and are good for one-time admittance, Thursday, March 25 (10 a.m. – 5 p.m.), Friday, March 26 (10 a.m. – 5 p.m.), and Saturday, March 27 (9 a.m. – 6 p.m.). The last entry will be permitted no later than one hour before closing and no appointment time is necessary. Visit www.georgiaaquarium.org for more information about the aquarium.
While you’re there, visit the aquarium’s new exhibit, Planet Shark: Predator or Prey! This exhibit is the most comprehensive and innovative "out of water" shark exhibition to tour the world. The ticket price for this exhibit is $8 and can be purchased at a ticket kiosk inside the aquarium.
Note: Discounted tickets are available only through February 25 as part of the Hinman pre-registration process. Tickets requested after February 25 must be ordered through www.georgiaaquarium.org and will not be discounted.
Aquarium tickets will not be mailed to you in your registration packet; you will receive a Hinman ticket instead. Please exchange your Hinman ticket for your aquarium ticket at the Concurrent Meetings desk located in the registration area in the Georgia World Congress Center before making your way to the aquarium. The aquarium is located at 225 Baker Street NW.

Visit one of the world’s best known news and entertainment sources, CNN Studios and the Turner Broadcasting System! Take the CNN Studio Tour for a behind-the-scenes look at how the news really works. Get an insider’s view of CNN Headline News, CNN Sports Illustrated, CNN International, and CNN.com, to name a few. This tour is the most detailed tour that CNN offers, and we have reserved a space for you. Each tour lasts approximately 55 minutes.
Note: This tour is a walking tour with several sets of stairs. Please notify the Hinman Office in advance if special assistance is required. Children under the age of four are not allowed on the tour.
Tickets for this event must be purchased prior to the meeting or at the CNN Ticket Sales desk in the CNN Atrium. Attendees who purchased tickets through Hinman should claim their tickets from the Hinman representative located next to the CNN ticket sales desk (representative will be holding a sign). Attendees should arrive 10 minutes prior to the tour start time.

Kimberley Kennedy is an Emmy award-winning journalist who has worked in television news as a reporter, anchor and producer. She was a weekend anchor at WSB here in Atlanta, a weekday anchor in Dallas, Texas and a 5:00 anchor at WXIA, where she hosted her own daily talk show, interviewing athletes and celebrities during the 1996 Olympic Games. Most recently, Kimberley was the producer, writer and host of WSB’s news and entertainment show, Hot Topics.
She is also author of the new book “Left at the Altar: My Story of Hope and Healing for Every Woman Who Has Felt the Heartbreak of Rejection” Her story has been featured on ABC, the 700 Club, People Magazine, Christian Singles Magazine, Woman Magazine in the UK and countless radio stations in the United States and Canada.
A graduate of Agnes Scott College, Kimberley has served as a board member of the Georgia Arthritis Foundation and Buckhead Christian Ministry and is an elder at Peachtree Presbyterian Church.
Kimberley grew up in the tiny town of The Rock, Georgia and comes from a family of broadcasters; her sister, Kathleen, was a long-time anchor at CNN, and her brother Arch is a meteorologist in Nashville.
Kimberley’s story is both poignant and funny… one to which we can all relate at some point in our lives. Rejection is experienced by everyone and Kimberley offers her story as one way to cope. Join us for lunch and to hear her story – you won’t be disappointed!

Bordeaux Grapes from Around the World
The classic grapes from the Bordeaux Region of France have been transplanted all over the world. We will feature some really great examples of classics like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Sauvignon Blanc. Expect some beautiful wines like Malbecs from Argentina, Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, Cabernet Sauvignon from California and of course some interesting classic blends from Bordeaux. As always, we expect a fun afternoon with some exciting wines to taste!

AUXILIARY RECEPTION

Join us at the Omni Hotel for a night of dancing, fun and great food! Spectrum Entertainment will join us again and promises a fabulous time. Each attendee, 21 years of age or older with identification, will receive two drink tickets redeemable for complimentary beer or wine between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Other beverages will be available for purchase and cash bars will remain open until 11:00 p.m. The buffet will open at 7:00 p.m.
All paid auxiliaries are eligible to win one of four $500 American Express Gift Certificates. Deposit the appropriate ticket in the ticket tumbler at the end of aisle 700 or at the Auxiliary Reception for a chance to win. You must be present to win.
